Omnium Scoring
Short Course and XCO points will be combined to create two omnium events: Short Course/XCO, and Marathon
The omnium competition will use a rider’s top 4 finishes for Marathon and top 6 finishes for XCO/Short Course
If a rider participates in more than 4 (Marathon) or 6 (XCO/SC) races, the rider will receive 1 bonus point for each additional race they complete.
Only the top 20 finishers in each category at each event will receive omnium points as allocated below
If you volunteer at an event and are not able to race, you will receive the allocated points for your season average finish at the end of the season (You must advocate for this, NOS will not automatically allocate these points)
If a tie occurs, head to head results will be used to determine placing.
